Here’s Each Of The Revenues And Profits For Each Of HYBE’s Labels, For The First Half Of 2023
HYBE’s been having a great year, with many new artists’ debuts, as well as comebacks. Their overall revenue and profits for the first half of 2023 were already previously reported to be ₩621 billion KRW (about $472 million USD) and ₩117 billion KRW (about $89.1 million USD) respectively. Here’s the breakdown of the revenue and profits for each of their labels.
1. BigHit Music
Housing BTS and TXT, BigHit Music’s revenue is at ₩280 billion KRW (about $211 million USD), and their profits at ₩75.7 billion KRW (about $56.9 million USD). BTS saw solo debuts while TXT continued their world tour.
2. Pledis Entertainment
Home to SEVENTEEN and fromis_9, they pulled ₩163 billion KRW (about $122 million USD) in revenue and ₩26.8 billion KRW (about $20.1 million USD) in profits. Both groups had a comeback each in the year, and SEVENTEEN completed tours in Japan and South Korea.
3. Source Music
Currently they are only managing LE SSERAFIM. They scored ₩36.2 billion KRW (about $27.2 million USD) in revenue and ₩5.90 billion KRW (about $4.43 million USD) in profits. LE SSERAFIM came back with “Unforgiven” during the time frame.
4. ADOR
ADOR is home to girl group NewJeans. Excluding their current comeback with Get Up as it falls outside of the time frame, NewJeans had various performances both domestically and overseas during the first half of 2023. They also signed to various brands as ambassadors. Their revenue was ₩44.3 billion KRW (about $33.3 million USD) and their profits are ₩11.5 billion KRW (about $8.64 million USD)
5. KOZ Entertainment
As they only recently debuted BOYNEXTDOOR, the label which houses BOYNEXTDOOR and Zico saw a loss. Their revenue stands at ₩6.50 billion KRW (about $4.89 million USD) and their profits at negative ₩4.30 billion KRW (about $3.23 million USD). This is normal for a rookie group.
6. BeLift Lab
Last but not least, BeLift Lab houses ENHYPEN. They gained revenue of ₩38.8 billion KRW (about $29.2 million USD) and profits of ₩9.50 billion KRW (about $7.14 million USD).
It was also reported that the artists under all the labels in HYBE were distributed a total of ₩113 billion KRW (about $85.2 million USD) in salary for the first half of 2023.
