They have removed the person in charge.

HYBE has reportedly removed their CCO following the backlash surrounding the leaks of their internal documents.

According to an exclusive report from Ilgan Sports, HYBE has decided to remove their CCO, who was in charge of writing the company’s now infamous weekly music industry reports, and are holding him responsible for the documents.

HYBE has had reports on the music industry created weekly and sent to the executives of HYBE and their affiliated labels. However as reports continued to get leaked, the contents attacking idols from other labels began to come out, sparking outrage within the industry.

HYBE’s reports attacked JYP Entertainment‘s female idols, left netizens accusing HYBE of copying aespa Winter’s hairstyle, revealed plans to throw away NewJeans, and much more.

HYBE stated that their internal music industry reports were a collection of reactions and public opinions regarding idols in the industry and based on reactions from the community, not the company’s own position.
