Hyeri Addresses Rumors About Getting Plastic Surgery

Idol-turned-actress Hyeri recently addressed the speculations about her getting plastic surgery.

With a career spanning close to fourteen years, Hyeri’s visuals have evolved quite dramatically over many years. As she grew older, she grew more into her features, and styling changes impacted her visuals as well.

It wasn’t until very recently that Hyeri was speculated to have her face cosmetically retouched. During a W Korea breast cancer awareness event in 2023, Hyeri appeared in an unfamiliar look, sporting a black mini dress paired with her mid-length brown hair styled with front bangs. Hyeri’s face stood out to many who felt that she looked a little different than her usual self. Hence, the rumors of plastic surgery started floating.

Though the speculations eventually died down, Hyeri’s team brought it up again in a recent YouTube video. In the video, Hyeri was joined by her team of hair and makeup artists, her PR manager, and her sister to overview some of the milestone looks she has sported in her career.

As the W Korea event’s picture came up, Hyeri immediately called it her “worst.”

Hyeri and her team playfully roasted the entire look, pointing out how everything went wrong—from the lenses to the dress to the hair.

In her defense, Hyeri explained that she got her hair, makeup, and outfit styling done at separate places, which caused everything to look out of place. She added that most of the fans’ comments she received that day were, “When will Hyeri find her style?”
