Hyeri Gets Mistaken As A Fourth-Generation Girl Group Member Overseas
Idol-actress Hyeri recently traveled to Japan and has been sharing her experience through her YouTube channel.
In her latest video, “TOKYO SHOPPING HAUL,” Hyeri unpacked the items she bought during her trip. All of the items were pretty much statement pieces from different brands, showing the unique personal taste of the idol.
One of those items included a Sherpa jacket from the luxury brand Stussy. It retails for around ₩31,200 KRW (about $24.20 USD) in South Korea.
While showing the jacket, Hyeri recalled a “romantic” episode from her shopping experience at the store.
An employee at the Stussy store complemented Hyeri’s visuals and even called her “my type.” The employee ended up handing her a memo asking for her Instagram ID. Hyeri giddily recalled the incident and moved on to the next item.
It turns out she also had another fun episode from the next store. While Hyeri showed a hoodie from Acne Studios, her staff member asked about what the store’s staff had asked her.
The singer recalled that the shopkeeper had asked her about her profession, and instead of answering, she had asked them to take a guess. Surprisingly, the shopkeeper got it right, saying that Hyeri looked like an idol!
But Hyeri played dumb, pretending to be shocked that she being an idol was a rather unimaginable thing. The shopkeeper then guessed that she was a fourth-generation idol, a member of the uber-popular girl group aespa!
To say Hyeri was flattered at that would be an understatement!
Despite being an idol for 13 years, Hyeri’s down-to-earth attitude is indeed admirable. You can watch her chaotic shopping haul right here:
