Hyeri And LE SSERAFIM’s Chaewon Spill On Sneaking Out Of The Dorms — And Almost Getting Caught
LE SSERAFIM just made their comeback with “Crazy” and have been promoting the track in various ways. Recently, Chaewon appeared on Girls’ Day’s Hyeri’s YouTube program as part of these promotions, where the idols discussed several topics.
During one portion of the video, Chaewon mentions when Girls’ Day snuck out of their dorms, leading Hyeri to explain that they had a curfew and had to get creative to work around it. According to Hyeri, the group would take the batteries out of their automatic door and manually open it to avoid getting caught, which didn’t always work.
Chaewon then discusses her experiences sneaking out while she was active with IZ*ONE. Before her debut with LE SSERAFIM, Chaewon was one of 12 members of the temporary group that lasted from 2018 to 2021.
Chaewon says that when she or another member wanted to sneak out, they would cover for each other by using a hair dryer. This was done to prevent their manager, who lived with them, from hearing the person leave.
Hyeri then says that these methods would only work if there was not a “clueless” person involved. She then recollected a time when Yura accidentally texted their manager instead of the other members a message about the manager being awake, leading Hyeri to have to play dumb about the situation.
