HyunA Threatens Legal Action Against Malicious Rumors Following Wedding Photoshoot
On September 2, KST, HyunA and Yong Junhyung‘s official wedding invitation surfaced online, followed by pictures from their pre-wedding photoshoot.
Most netizens, however, are not pleased with HyunA’s decision, owing to Yong’s past involvement with the infamous Burning Sun scandal. Hence, the wedding photoshoot invited a new wave of criticism and hate comments toward the singer.
Though the public opinion about Junhyung and his relationship with HyunA has never been favorable, the singer has now decided to take legal steps against false rumors. On September 4, KST, HyunA’s agency, AT AREA, put out an official statement addressing the rumors and personal attacks directed at her. The agency mentioned that they had plans to file lawsuits before as well, but showed leniency at the request of the artist herself.
The decisive factor for the company to finally pursue legal action, as they mentioned, was the increased hate HyunA received after the release of her wedding photos with Junhyung.

The agency also warned that they will offer no “warning, leniency, or settlement” while pursuing strict legal measures against those who spread malicious rumors.
