Former Idol Reportedly Caught Lying About Sexual Assault After CEO Didn’t Leave His Girlfriend For Her

On June 18, Seoul’s Central District Court sentenced the former idol to 18 months in prison suspended for two years. The former girl group member was also reportedly handed down 160 hours of community service.

According to the court, the fact that the former idol is still young played a part in giving her a light sentence.

The courts need to consider the life of the defendant. She is still young and is a first-time offender. I feel it would be more meaningful to give her a chance to redeem herself through community service.
