Idol-Turned-Rapper On Trial For Illegally Filming Sex With 3 Victims
Former idol rapper — referred to only as Mr. Choi — is currently on trial after illegally filming sexual encounters with three women. The prosecution is asking for 3 years as his sentence.
According to the prosecution, Choi is accused of illegally filming the body parts and sexual encounters with one of the victims (A) a total of eight times using a silent camera application from July 2022 to May 2023.
He is also accused of filming another victim whom he met at a bar in Gangnam on Jul 2022. Choi filmed the woman lying on a bed.
As of now, there are a total of three identified victims. It has been revealed that Choi covered the victims’ eyes or set the camera up at different angles difficult to notice to carry out the illegal filming.
As part of his defense, Choi’s lawyer claimed he had no intention of distributing the footage and pleaded for leniency.
Although his actions were wrong, he had no intention of distributing the footage outside as he was in a relationship at the time. The defendant is deeply remorseful.
