Fifth-Generation Girl Group Finally Confirms Official Fandom Name
Fifth-generation girl group ILLIT has finally confirmed its fandom name.
On September 1, ILLIT announced that its official fandom name would be GLLIT.
GLLIT derives from the English word “glitter” which means to shine. It means that their fans are the brightest in ILLIT’s eyes and it is the fans who make ILLIT shine.
They also shared the fandom name in different languages including Korean and Japanese.
Previously, the group encountered difficulties in choosing a name due to backlash from other fandoms.
