ILLIT‘s reaction to their “hardest moment” since debut gains attention in the fallout of Min Hee Jin‘s feud with HYBE.

ILLIT has had a tough time since debuting, and Iroha‘s tears at a recent event sparked major sympathy from netizens.
On March 27, the group appeared on member Minju‘s show Minju’s Pink Cabinet.
During the episode, the members were asked about the hardest moment from the past year. It was about the first year because the group had recently celebrated their first anniversary since the debut in 2024.
The members seemed flustered, and they looked at each other as if trying to think of an appropriate answer.
The members joked about how everything suddenly became serious.
Wonhee eventually made a pick, choosing the hardships of practicing.
Yet, the initial reaction gained attention as many thought back to the tough year ILLIT has had since debuting due to the fallout of Min Hee Jin‘s feud with HYBE and the continuing battle between ADOR and NJZ (NewJeans). When the issues first arose, ILLIT was accused of plagiarizing NewJeans.
The members had a lot of “hate” during broadcasts and on social media.
After the video was posted, netizens shared their sadness at everything the group has gone through the past year and thought the reactions from the members may have been them seemingly thinking of all the hate and the tough debut year they’ve had.
