ILLIT Accused Of Being HYBE Group Instructed To Ignore NewJeans' Hanni

NewJeans fans have begun looking for the HYBE manager who instructed another group to ignore Hanni.

On September 12, a picture of comments under ILLIT’s recent video went viral. In the comments section, many NewJeans fans accused ILLIT of being the group that was instructed to ignore NewJeans.

“Ignore.”
“Are you guys not breaking up?”
“Hey, was it your manager?”
“Do you guys know which manager told you guys to ignore Hanni?”
“Who told you guys to ignore Hanni? I’m sure it’s either ILLIT’s manager or LE SSERAFIM’s manager.”

Previously, NewJeans, in a move of desperation, went on a livestream to expose their mistreatment at the hands of HYBE.

In one segment, Hanni revealed that a manager of another group told their idols to ignore Hanni.

There’s hair and makeup rooms on the 4th floor of the building. It’s a space frequented by other artists and staff. Anyway, I was waiting alone in the corridor then, and another group and one of their managers passed by me. We greeted each other well then. But when the group came out again with the manager, the manager said, ‘Ignore her.’ Right in front of me. I can see and hear everything, but the manager said ‘Ignore her.’ I don’t know even now, why I had to go through that. It leaves me speechless.

Hanni’s revelation has since sparked an outpour of support for NewJeans as netizens look for clues to find the group. Meanwhile, netizens defended NewJeans’ fans and accused HYBE supporters of being hypocritical, and criticized them for playing the victim.

“LE SSERAFIM and ILLIT bugs have said a lot worse to NewJeans, no? Don’t you guys start off cursing out their parents? I don’t think there is anything for you guys to be upset about.”
“But you guys did the same to NewJeans? LOL, f*cking ajussis with no conscience, look at them playing the victim.”
“When will LE SSERAFIM bugs stop playing the victim? Why are you guys acting like you guys never cursed out their parents and family?”
“It’s amazing how HYBE and their bots have no regard for their artists. Is this another ploy to make it seem like LE SSERAFIM and ILLIT are being targeted? Bunnies are all busy defending NewJeans from your posts. I learned that ILLIT was involved from your post, but it’s sickening to see how the comments here are similar to the ones you’ve shared in your post.”
“Seriously, if you are an ILLIT or LE SSERAFIM fan, you need to know that the adults in the label are lying, manipulating the media, and twisting words. Someone here wrote how ILLIT’s maknae was born in 2008. Well, NewJeans’ maknae was also born in 2008. What are you grown-ass people doing to children? If you guys are really fans and looking out for the kids, then fight against HYBE.”
