ILLIT’s Wonhee has ignited significant debate online after expressing her gratitude to HYBE Chairman Bang Si Hyuk during a recent media showcase for the group’s second mini album, I’LL LIKE YOU.
ILLIT’s Yoona, Minju, Moka, Wonhee, and Iroha held an event at Yes24 Live Hall in Seoul to celebrate the launch of their latest release. The album — featuring five tracks, including the title song “Cherish (My Love)” — is centered around a girl who navigates her feelings while wanting to get closer to someone special.
While discussing the album’s creation, Wonhee acknowledged Bang Si Hyuk’s involvement. She shared that the HYBE chairman provided them with valuable feedback throughout the production process, especially when it came to interpreting the song, refining their dance moves, and perfecting their facial expressions.
According to Wonhee, Bang’s advice contributed significantly to the quality and depth of their new comeback.
