ILLIT Yunah's Viral Comments Being Linked To ADOR's Min Hee Jin Divides Netizens

ILLIT Yunah‘s recent comments are going viral after being linked to ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin, but netizens are divided.

ILLIT are seen as one of the “victims” of Min Hee Jin’s recent feud with HYBE, as she brought the group’s concept up as plagiarizing NewJeans. While the CEO explained it wasn’t against the young ILLIT members, the group has received a lot of backlash due to various comments.

During a recent video on ILLIT’s YouTube channel, the members took part in “Who Is The Killer?” to showcase their personalities.

At one point in the video, Yunah pretended to cry, adding, “It’s just that… I’m ENFP. I’m bad at these things.”

The reason that it is linked to Min Hee Jin is a comment she made during a press conference. When speaking about the impact it had on other groups, including ILLIT, Min Hee Jin spoke of the impact on herself, bringing up her own MBTI.

During the press conference, Min addressed a question about the harm done to idols due to the controversy with HYBE. She was told, ‘BTS, LE SSERAFIM, and ILLIT have all been hurt by this situation.’ When asked for her thoughts on the matter, Min responded, ‘Everyone has been hurt. Even NewJeans has been affected.’ Min further stated, ‘I have been the most hurt. I’m an ENTP. I hope all will be considered in a direction that benefits everyone.’

When clips of the video were shared online, some netizens joked that Yunah was “shading” Min Hee Jin. Although many were joking, the clips went viral on various platforms, including X and TikTok.

Some netizens found it hilarious and joked that they loved ILLIT even more for the shade.

Yet, many worried that an ongoing joke that Yunah has always used was being taken out of context and could lead to the young idol getting hate. In particular, they shared that the common use of MBTI in Korea meant that many people used their results to explain their behavior, so it shouldn’t even be joked that Yunah was meant to be mocking Min Hee Jin.
