Im Siwan will reportedly be joining the cast for season two of Squid Game, and his agency has commented.
According to an exclusive report from Star News, Im Siwan has been cast for season two of Squid Game alongside Lee Jung Jae and Lee Byung Hun as the three main characters. Gong Yoo will also appear in the series as he did in the first season.
Season two of Squid Game will have a production cost of over ₩100 billion KRW (about $78.6 million USD). The production team is currently in the process of casting for their numerous roles and will begin filming later this summer. Their goal is to release season two in 2024.
Both Netflix and Im Siwan’s agency have commented on Star News’ report.
