Industry Postpones Various Interviews And Drama Press Conferences In Light Of Actor Lee Sun Kyun’s Death
It was reported on December 27, 2023, that actor Lee Sun Kyun had passed away. He was found unresponsive in his vehicle in early hours of the day. The police confirmed that he had passed on.
In light of his passing, the industry has reshuffled many scheduled items. Upcoming K-Drama Marry My Husband was scheduled for a press conference on December 27, 2023. They quickly announced that it would be canceled due to the tragic news. The press conference precedes the launch of the drama on January 1, 2024, starring Park Min Young, Na In Woo, Lee Yi Kyung, and Song Ha Yoon.
Movie Noryang: Deadly Sea also canceled an interview for its lead, Kim Sung Gyu. The movie launched just a week earlier on December 20, 2023.
Lee Sun Kyun was recently involved in a drug abuse investigation. He leaves behind a wife and two children.
