Lee Yoo Joo, a renowned yoga instructor passed away on February 18, KST, at the age of 35. The news of her untimely demise was shared thorugh the social media account of her yoga studio, Yogaum, on February 19.

We have a sudden heartbreaking news to share. Teacher Lee Yoo Jo passed away yesterday (February 18).
According to the wishes of the bereaved family, there will be no separate wake or funeral. We will set up a space at the yoga studio run by teacher Lee Yoo Joo for final greetings until this Friday.

On February 18, the day of her passing, Lee made her last post on Instagram with a chilling caption, “Bye.” Her friends and family, as well as her followers are now leaving farewell messages under the post.

Lee Yoo Joo gained significant popularity after appearing on the MBC show, Infinite Challenge, where she taught yoga to the show’s cast which included celebrities like Yoo Jae Suk, Park Myung Soo, and Haha. She also worked with brands like Samsung and Libot, and modeled in many ads, further cementing her popularity.
