International Fans Hit Back At NMIXX’s Korean Fans After “2024 ISAC” Controversy
NMIXX was recently criticized for allegedly neglecting fans at the recent 2024 Idol Star Athletic Championship. Fans had gone to see them at the arena but came back disappointed with the lack of interactions. A tweet complaining about the experience quickly went viral on social media. According to one NSWER who had been on site, the girls barely came over to say hi to the fans.

It’s not that I was an angelic fan who listened to the guards [and didn’t take videos], but I had nothing to film, because they really didn’t come over to where the fans were seated. I went to see NMIXX, but I ended up seeing more of other idols… Did we ask you for extravagant fan gifts? We just wanted you guys to come over to see us. Was that so hard? I’m sorry, I didn’t want to say this. And honestly, what I was more upset about than anything was how the MC definitely told the artists to greet their fans one last time before everyone left, but NMIXX just left like that. I thought that I must’ve missed it, but actually they just didn’t come over… Yeah.

On the other hand, international fans have been hitting back at Korean fans for complaining about their experience. They defended the girls, claiming that they must have been tired preparing for their upcoming comeback.

Some even chatised fans for not being grateful for the chance to see the girls in the first place.

Fans were also upset that the girls had to apologize over the matter. Both Kyujin and Sullyoon issued apologies on Dear U. Bubble. Kyujin explained that the girls had been tired due to their comeback preparation.
