The final episode of Mnet‘s Produce 101 has finally aired with the Top 11 contestants who will be debuting as the girl group IOI has been announced!
Aired on April 1st, the winners were announced throughout the airing of the episode with Jeon Somi taking first place followed by Kim Sejong in second place. The other members to make up IOI include Choi Yoojung, Kim Chungha, Kim Sohye, Zhou Jieqiong, Jung Chaeyeon, Kim Doyeon, Kang Mina, Lim Nayoung and Yu Yeunjung, taking up 3rd through 11th place respectively.
As the 1st place winner, JYP Entertainment’s Jeon Somi additionally takes her place as the center of the group.
Their debut activities will officially begin in early May with plans of them taking on a “unique” concept.
