OMEGA X’s Agency Takes Legal Action Against Spire Entertainment And YouTuber

In October 2022, while OMEGA X was touring the U.S., Spire Entertainment’s CEO Kang Seong Hee was accused of mentally and physically abusing the members after a video was posted online. This came after the company called out MC Entertainment over the alleged mishandling of the tour.

Since then, Kang has been exposed for further mistreatment against OMEGA X. This includes attempting to force the members to perform even while sick with COVID-19, forcing members to drink, sexual assault, and harassment of the members. She was even exposed for publicly crushing on member Yechan while he was underage.

Ultimately, the group won their lawsuit against Spire Entertainment, suspending their contracts in January 2023. The contracts officially terminated in May 2023, allowing them to sign under a new agency.

Kang has continually attempted to sway public opinion but had more of her inappropriate behavior exposed in September 2023. Despite this, Kang has not let up. She recently accused Hwichan of sexual assault, which OMEGA X and their current agency, IPQ, refuted. She was exposed with explosive text messages.

Now, IPQ has released a detailed update in both Korean and English regarding OMEGA X and Spire Entertainment. It confirmed that Kang “committed assault, verbal abuse, molestation, and intimidation.” This negatively impacted the members’ health.

IPQ disclosed that Spire Entertainment and YouTuber In Ji Woong were responsible for spreading many falsehoods. OMEGA X’s agency is taking legal action.

Kang’s alleged sexual assault and defamation of Hwichan are under investigation. IPQ is committed to revealing the truth, taking legal action, and bringing about justice on behalf of OMEGA X.
