Leading “Itaewon Class” Actress Admits To Crying While Filming A Scene From The K-Drama
One of the most iconic and popular K-Dramas of all time is Itaewon Class.
One of the main characters is Oh Soo Ah, played by Kwon Na Ra (also known as Nara).
She is Sae Ro Yi’s (Park Seo Joon) former classmate and first love. After Sae Ro Yi’s father died, she joined Jangga Group (the company where the CEO’s son bullied Sae Ro Yi and killed his dad) and became an employee in the company, leading her to be torn between her emotions for her childhood friend and the company she works for.
On November 7, Kwon Nara was the latest guest on Dex‘s Fridge Interview.
During the video, Kwon Na Ra was asked if there were any roles she wanted to try out. When Dex recommended action roles, she couldn’t agree more, and he thought Na Ra would be great at it.
Dex then shared why he thought Na Ra would suit that kind of role, looking at her features and physicality.
While Na Ra seemingly wanted to, she revealed why action roles weren’t something she thought she could do. She revealed that during a scene in Itaewon Class, she had to run alongside co-star Park Seo Joon.
They ran uphill for around seven hours and she explained that by the end, she could barely work.
Na Ra even admitted that she cried after running that long, and it was then that she thought she couldn’t do action.
Dex was quick to defend Na Ra, saying that anyone would feel that way after seven hours of running, and that Park Seo Joon was exceptionally strong.
The show was definitely a hit. It seems like the whole cast put in blood, sweat, and tears to make it look authentic and loved by netizens worldwide.
