ITZY’s Chaeryeong Reveals What Yeji Did To Help Her Prepare As “Artist Of The Month”

Studio Choom‘s Artist Of The Month can be quite an intimidating title with such talents as TXT‘s Yeonjun, former GFRIEND‘s SinB, and ATEEZ‘s Wooyoung having previously held the position.

For her turn as the artist for August, ITZY‘s Chaeryeong was able to look a little closer to home for advice on how to prepare for such a big opportunity.

When asked how her members had supported her, Chaeryeong brought up how ITZY’s leader and Artist Of The Month for March, Yeji, had given her quite a bit of advice.

She said that Yeji mostly talked her through the nerves of filming interviews on her own. Chaeryeong admitted that sitting there filming, “Yeji unnie’s words came to [her] mind.”

She also shared that since she and Yeji are roommates, she’d asked her quite a bit.

Yeji had let her know beforehand about the large number of cameras that would be entering into their practice room and warned her that they might make her nervous since she’s used to being part of a group.

While Chaeryeong admitted it did make her nervous, she showed confidence to every camera she could find.

Later on during her rehearsals, Yeji even stopped by with the most important type of support, caffeine!
