ITZY Have The Most Relatable Reactions While Preparing To Perform At IU’s “The Golden Hour” Concert
ITZY were IU‘s special guest performers for Day 1 of her The Golden Hour concert, and in the latest episode of their ITZY?ITZY! series, they gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at what happened before their performance.
While ITZY were incredibly excited and honored to perform, the girls couldn’t help but be jealous of the fans in the audience for being able to watch IU perform live.
Since they were backstage, they couldn’t see any of the performances, but they did make every effort possible to listen to IU’s vocals live.
Being backstage didn’t stop ITZY from jamming to IU’s songs, and even right before their performance, they couldn’t believe that this situation was real. IU is the artist many idols look up to, so to perform at her concert is an unbelievable honor.
Like many fans, Lia shared that she had only ever seen IU’s stages through videos. IU’s charisma permeates through the screen, but of course, being there in person allowed the girls to experience IU’s full power.
Just listening to IU’s voice was enough to move ITZY to tears, though they tried their hardest to keep it in so they could deliver a perfect performance.
And while it’s an incredible honor for the girls to be on stage with IU, instead of being boastful, the girls were humble and redirected all love toward IU.

Chaeryeong even went so far as to say that it was an honor for not just her but her entire family that she got to perform on the same stage as IU. Honestly, it’s not even an exaggeration, considering IU’s legendary status.

The way the girls look at IU while waiting to perform is proof of their deep love for IU, and it’s not just because she’s a talented artist. She’s also one of the kindest souls in the world, so ITZY look up to IU in every aspect of life.
