ITZY’s Ryujin Addresses “Rude” Comment Left By The Group’s Producer

Producer Friday recently faced backlash for a comment he made on ITZY Ryujin’s Instagram. He casually wrote, “Ryujin, let’s get some botox,” which fans found highly offensive. They criticized him heavily for the inappropriate remark.

As part of the producing duo GALACTIKA, Friday has worked on numerous ITZY tracks, including “DALLA DALLA,” “Wannabe,” “LOCO,” and “Sneakers.” Given his long-standing involvement with the group, his comment was particularly disappointing. Previously, Friday has shown considerable support for ITZY and used affectionate terms like “kid” for Ryujin. After receiving intense negative feedback, he swiftly deleted the comment and closed the comments section on his Instagram.

Although Friday himself did not address the matter, Ryujin took to Dear. U Bubble around 4am KST to speak on it.

It’s so late at night but there was something I wanted to talk about, so I’m leaving a post here. I have something to say about the comment that Producer Friday left on my personal Instagram post. He personally came to say sorry about it, and that he simply had found it cringey to tell me that I looked pretty. He thinks he ended up leaving a joke in bad taste, and is sorry for that. He also contacted me to say he is so sorry to the MIDZYs who treasure me.

Since MIDZYs are always thinking of me, I wanted to tell you this. He’s a producer that always treasures ITZY too, so I just wanted to ask you guys to think of him in a good light. I’m sorry if I ended up waking MIDZYs up, but I just wanted to leave a Bubble so that you guys wouldn’t be too bothered by this.
