ITZY Yeji‘s recent styling has netizens fiercely divided.
On June 2, ITZY performed at SBS Inkigayo’s K-WAVE concert. As expected, the members truly put on an amazing show by performing some of their new songs, such as Untouchable and Mr. Vampire.
Yeji looked stunning as she channeled her inner Y2K with her white pants, crop top and red bandana.
Yet, it seems like Korean netizens are split about her outfit, specifically the bandana incorporated into the look.
When the photos were posted of Yeji wearing the bandana on the Korean forum theqoo, netizens had very mixed reactions to the styling. Although some didn’t feel it was too bad and fitted with the Y2K trend, others thought that it was only because of Yeji’s visuals that she pulled it off, and some even compared it to something from a hiking club.
- “Yeji is really pretty, but the headscarf itself isn’t attractive. It kind of looks like those cheap handkerchiefs produced locally as souvenirs.”
- “Just the bandana look itself is not great. Because of the Y2K trend, many idols nowadays are waering bandanas. And I can overlook the increase in oversized clothes and the rise of H.O.T-esque looks, but the bandana feels too tacky…”
