ITZY’s Ryujin May Have Spoiled Her And Yeji’s “MIX & MAX” Choreography – Fans Are Suspicious For A Good Reason
Fans are ecstatic that ITZY‘s Yeji and Ryujin are the next duo slated for Studio Choom‘s newest series: “MIX & MAX.”
Previously ENHYPEN‘s Jungwon and Ni-ki were the first duo to perform, stunning fans with their incredibly dark performance.
Given the high production value of Jungwon and Ni-ki’s performance and the individual successes both Yeji and Ryujin had with their solo “Artist of the Month” performances…
Fans have exceptionally high hopes for the upcoming performance.
Yeji’s performance of Bishop Briggs‘ “River” is still the highest viewed video in the “Artist of the Month” series, with over 40 million views.
And Ryujin’s performance of Billie Eilish‘s “Therefore I Am” is currently the third-highest viewed video, with almost 20 million views.
In a recent teaser video uploaded to Studio Choom’s YouTube channel, Ryujin shares that their performance is set to Bebe Rexha‘s “Break My Heart Myself.”
And that the concept of their performance was based on the movie Terminal.
Terminal is a 2018 film starring Margot Robbie as a contract killer seeking revenge.
Ryujin shares that she and Yeji based their concept on the film’s depiction of twins.
And while the teaser video offers some exciting looks at the choreography of the performance…
Fans are convinced that Ryujin actually spoiled some of the choreography for their performance in a VLIVE before the collaboration was announced.
In the VLIVE, Ryujin joins Yeji’s solo VLIVE unexpectedly, which causes Yeji to share that, unfortunately, there’s only one chair.
So throughout the VLIVE, Ryujin is often dancing around in the background.
And when a fan asks them to share today’s TMI, Ryujin strikes a dramatic pose that shocks Yeji.
Yeji: There…
Ryujin: Today’s TMI…
But after Ryujin’s pose, they talk about an audition they went to instead.
Ryujin: We had an audiiton today. is this a spoiler?
Yeji: Yes. A big one.
And since news of Yeji and Ryujin’s “MIX & MAX” collaboration had not been announced when Ryujin shared the choreography, fans are now assuming that the dance move is definitely a part of the choreography for their upcoming performance. Especially given their next comments.
Ryujin: This is a cute subtle spoiler, isn’t it? Right? What could they be able to guess with this?
Yeji: Right.
Ryujin: Later, they’ll go, “Oh, that was this!”
Yeji: Right, right.
Ryujin: Unless we sing.
Yeji: Yes, but the manager will call you now.
