IU Makes A Shockingly “Dramatic” Change To Her Instagram Account
K-Pop soloist IU has sent the internet into meltdown with a dramatic change to her Instagram account.
Netizens have always loved seeing IU’s selfies and photos on her account. Whether they’re from schedules, events, or just normal selfies, IU has always showcased her visuals.
One of the most unique things about IU’s Instagram account was her profile picture. While most celebrities choose to have a photo of themselves to represent the account, IU always gained a lot of love and admiration for her unique picture.
Rather than a photo of herself, IU had an adorable photo of the cartoon character Tweety.
Yet, after being used to the adorable photo for so long (six years, to be precise), netizens were shocked when they noticed that it had changed on February 6. While netizens were relieved that it was still Tweety, the character had undergone an even cuter transformation with a hat, jacket (with arm warmers) and cute socks.
One fan on the Korean forum theqoo shared the exact transformation of IU’s Instagram, showing that in the nine years since creating her account, the idol has only ever had three profile pictures. What was even cuter is the fact that they’ve all been cartoon characters.
While the change was small, it was enough to send the internet into meltdown. In particular, it was such a big topic online because in the nearly ten years since IU has had her account,
