Popular Singer Prepares Unexpected Gifts For Residents Living Near Concert Venue
Singer IU, who is scheduled to hold a concert at the Seoul World Cup Stadium, received a positive response from residents in the area.
Residents of the apartments in Mapo-gu said they received a bundle of regulation garbage bags prepared by IU in front of their homes. Although unexpected, many felt that it was a practical present that every Korean household needs.
This apartment is located about 200 meters away from the concert venue. Many famous singers have performed at this stadium, and residents have constantly complained about the noise level.
Since last year, the Jamsil Sports Complex has been undergoing renovations, so the World Cup Stadium has been used more often for large-scale concerts.
Just this year, SEVENTEEN and Lim Young Woong have held concerts at this venue. IU is up next with her concert on September 21 and 22.
The community resident board was flooded with posts about receiving the regulation garbage bags from IU, praising her for her thoughtfulness.
I’ve lived here for over ten years, and this is the first time I’ve received a present from a singer performing at the venue. I was touched by her consideration for the residents. I will keep the bags and think of them as limited-edition merchandise.
