IU has rejected a K-Drama lead role offer from the writer of the hit series, Crash Landing On You.
According to an exclusive report from Ilyo, IU was in discussions for the female lead role in writer Park Ji Eun‘s new K-Drama, tentatively titled The Queen of Tears. The report stated that IU’s side and the production team have had numerous discussions about IU joining the cast of the show, and IU was positively considering the role.
However, IU’s agency EDAM Entertainment has come out to state that while IU did indeed receive the proposal for the role, she has ultimately rejected it.
We did receive a proposal for Park Ji Eun’s new work, The Queen of Tears, however that is something that we have politely rejected.
