Singer IU has revealed her major plans for 2025!
On December 17, the singer was interviewed by Billboard, the same day when the organization named IU the “Global Number 1” artist from Korea.
In the interview, when she was asked about her plans for 2025, she revealed that she had multiple acting projects lined up for the coming year. First in line is her much-talked-about K-Drama with Park Bo Gum, When Life Gives You Tangerines, which she revealed is set to premiere on Netflix in 2025. “It is a project that actors and staff members have worked hard to create. So, I’m looking forward to its promotional activities.”
She also mentioned a second acting project, tentatively titled Wife of a 21st-century Prince. She described it as a “colorful and fun drama” and, according to reports, will be filming it with Lovely Runner breakout star Byeon Woo Seok.
Talking about her music career, IU confessed that she planned to “focus on acting for most of 2025” but had already started working on new music, reassuring that fans won’t have to wait for too long.
