IU Explains Why She’ll Feel “Uncomfortable” With BTS’s V After The “Love Wins All” MV Shoot
IU‘s “Love Wins All” music video starring BTS‘s V was recently released to an overwhelmingly positive response. Fans loved the chemistry between the two actors, something that was evident even in behind the scenes footage.
As seen on the latest “IU TV” episode, the two had an easygoing relationship with one another. Towards the end of the shooting, however, IU admitted to feeling “uncomfortable” with the BTS singer.
The music video was set outside Seoul, South Korea. They filmed in a forest-like setting and an abandoned building to create the concept of a post-apocalyptic world. The filming process was set over three days, with the first two being incredibly taxing on the actors.
On the morning of the third, IU shared to the camera that she called V to check up on him, afraid that he quit in the middle of filming.
As soon as I woke up this morning, I checked on V. [I asked him] ‘You didn’t go to Seoul, did you?’

Because of how strenuous the previous day’s schedule was, she said she would understand if he chose to give up on filming the music video.
Even if V said he went back to Seoul, no one would have blamed him. Because we put him through so much trouble yesterday that it’ll be inhuman to blame him for that.

IU admitted that a part of her couldn’t help but feel “uncomfortable” knowing that she owes V so much.
How can I repay him? After this shoot I think I’ll be uncomfortable around V.
— IU
She praised him for his kindness and perseverance and the two ended with an even closer relationship with one another.
He’s so kind. He’s back at the site today.
