Recently, clips of IVE eating burgers have become a hot topic. In the clip, the members were seen eating with a fork, seemingly picking the fillings out and eating them rather than the traditional way.
Although the video was from last month, numerous videos of the IVE members eating went viral on TikTok, and it received very mixed reactions.

In the comments, netizens criticized the way IVE ate the burgers, finding it odd that they were all (except Rei) eating it with a fork, with many criticizing the way of eating.
Yet, most netizens defended IVE, explaining that if the members had their makeup done, eating burgers in a traditional way would’ve ruined it. Others added that the group was getting unnecessary hate, comparing it to the situation with Wonyoung eating a strawberry and that the idea was actually very smart.
Other fans even shared examples of the IVE members eating burgers normally, cementing that there was a reason behind it which was probably to not ruin their makeup.
