IVE’s Gaeul Tests Positive For COVID-19
K-Pop girl group IVE’s Gaeul has tested positive for COVID-19. According to Starship Entertainment, she tested positive through a self-diagnosis kit and immediately went to the hospital for a rapid antigen test, confirming a positive result. Below is the official statement.
Hello, this is Starship Entertainment. We would like to inform you that IVE’s Gaeul has been diagnosed with COVID-19. She received a positive result through a self-diagnosis kit on March 15 and immediately took a rapid antigen test, which confirmed a positive result.
All other members currently do not have any special symptoms and have all tested negative after taking rapid antigen test. Gaul has currently completed the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and is experiencing no symptoms other than a mild sore throat. She is being treated at home, separate from the other members.
We will focus on treatment and recovery by prioritizing the health and safety of our artists and comply with the guidelines of the quarantine authorities. Thank you.
