Fans Discuss The Almost Eerie Similarities Between IVE's Jang Wonyoung And Ahn Yujin

IVE‘s Jang Wonyoung and Ahn Yujin have a long history together, going back to their pre-IZ*ONE days when they were both trainees at Starship Entertainment. They even have the adorable friendship name “Annyeongz”, which is a combination of their full names.

Of course, they went on to both debut in IZ*ONE in October 2018, and after that, they both ended up in the highly successful rookie girl group that is IVE!

But their similarities go far beyond just training and debuting alongside each other twice. Recently, fans have discussed all of the almost eerie similarities that the two female idols have in common!

One ongoing trait that the girls had was that Yujin was always one centimeter shorter than Wonyoung after they both debuted for the first time. At that time, Wonyoung was listed at 169cm while Yujin was 168cm, and they maintained that difference all the way up until very recently!

Over the years, they went from 170cm and 171cm respectively to 172cm and 173cm, with Wonyoung always keeping that little bit of extra height. However, Yujin shared just a couple of days ago that she measured herself at 173cm most recently, making them both the same height for the first time since before debut!

And not only are their heights the same, but fans believe that their proportions — such as their knee height, hip height, and even their head size — are all extremely similar, which isn’t always the case even for people who are the same height.

The next similarity is their birthdays. Yujin was born on September 1, 2003 while Wonyoung was born on August 31, 2004, making them exactly one year and one day apart in age. They also had a leap year between their birthdays, so they’re 365 days total apart in age.

Even their names have a strange coincidence! Wonyoung’s name in Hangul is 장원영 while Yujin’s is 안유진, making their initials ㅈㅇㅇ and ㅇㅇㅈ respectively.

And the similarities continue. Both girls are the youngest of two daughters in their families, and they both have O-type blood. They’re both, of course, Virgos, due to their similar birthdays, and each of them consider white as one of their favorite colors. Finally, they both attended the prestigious School of Performing Arts Seoul (SOPA).
