Recently, IVE has been teasing the release of their EP I’VE MINE. On September 24, teaser photos were shared, and netizens couldn’t hide their shock when previous speculations were right as Wonyoung was revealed to have blonde hair.
As expected, the idol looked like a doll, showcasing her elegant and regal visuals.
When the photos were released, it wasn’t surprising that the idol went viral for her stunning visuals, especially considering Wonyoung hasn’t had her hair blonde before.

While many fans couldn’t stop gushing about the photos, some shared their skepticism that Wonyoung had dyed her hair blonde. Of course, the first thing fans noticed was that Wonyoung has had a lot of schedules and hasn’t had blonde hair for any of them, and others said that the photos never showed her roots.

Yet, while it may be expected that some fans would be disappointed, it seemed like the opposite was the case. In particular, while some pointed out that if it’s a wig, it meant Wonyoung keeps her healthy hair, others pointed out that they should be normalized in K-Pop to stop damaging idol’s scalps.
