IVE’s Jang Wonyoung Goes Viral For Her “Savage” AF Comment About Comedian Lee Soo Geun’s Height On “Knowing Bros”
Ever since Jang Wonyoung first made her debut in K-Pop after making her mark in IZ*ONE and eventually debuting again in IVE in 2021, the idol has captured the attention of fans for her undeniable proportions.
With her small face, slim figure, and modelesque height, Wonyoung is basically a walking doll!
Back in 2021, she surprised them even more by announcing that she’d grown even more. In recent interviews, Wonyoung shared that she was actually 173cm and might continue to grow because of her young age.
IVE recently appeared on an episode of Knowing Bros, and Wonyoung’s height soon became a hot topic.
From the very beginning, the heights of all the members shook the cast. Kang Ho Dong even asked them all, “Did you grow taller?” Alongside Jang Wonyoung, Yujin has also gained attention for her tall height.
During the episode, Jang Wonyoung stepped out to hand out the transfer papers for the group. When asked who she was going to pick, she chose Lee Soo Geun, adding, “Soo Geun, you are my pick.”
However, as she walked toward the variety star, Lee Soo Geun immediately uttered, “Your height.” As one of the shortest members of the Knowing Bros cast, his height has always been a topic of conversation, and it would’ve been no different with such a tall idol like Jang Wonyoung.
When Lee Soo Geun went up to retrieve the papers, Jang Wonyoung hilariously explained, “Don’t get up.”
Jang Wonyoung then went on to add that the only person who could stand up was Seo Jang Hoon, who is known as one of the tallest men in the Korean entertainment industry.
Kang Ho Dong quickly asked, “Can we stand up?” Jang Wonyoung replied that it was okay for Ho Dong and then explained to Lee Soo Geun, “Don’t stand [up]. I’ll give it to you.”
When the clip was posted, Korean netizens couldn’t get enough of the idol’s response, and most of the comments seemed to be calling Jang Wonyoung “cute” while laughing at her reaction.

Yet, alongside Korean netizens, international netizens also couldn’t get enough of Jang Wonyoung’s confidence and the fact that she was ready to call out Lee Soo Geun.
Although many have chosen to criticize Jang Wonyoung over the years, the idol continues to showcase not only her charisma but also that she is perfect on variety shows. At such a young age, Wonyoung has an air of confidence that never crosses the boundaries.
