IVE’s Jang Wonyoung “Scolds” ENHYPEN’s Sunghoon During The Recent “Music Bank” Episode
Music shows have become a staple part of any K-Pop fan’s life, no matter where in the world they are. Friday marks the broadcast of Music Bank, and, aside from the amazing performances, netizens tune in to watch the hilarious interactions between the MCs, IVE‘s Jang Wonyoung and ENHYPEN‘s Sunghoon.
Back in 2021, the two idols took over as the hosts of the well-loved show. Since the first episode, they have wowed fans with their visuals and charmed everyone with their amazing and sibling-like energy,
This week was particularly special for Jang Wonyoung as IVE was making a comeback to Music Bank with their new track “After LIKE.”
Like always, at the start of the show, Jang Wonyoung and Sunghoon will introduce the show and normally have netizens LOL’ing with their interactions. This week was no different.
Unsurprisingly, it was clear how excited Jang Wonyoung was for the comeback. However, Sunghoon seemed to forget the name of IVE’s track, and Jang Wonyoung seemed to get very “upset” at her co-host’s actions…
Anyone who has siblings knows that when you’re upset or want to make a point, the best thing is to bring up something from the past.
That’s exactly what Jang Wonyoung did. Jang Wonyoung explained that when ENHYPEN had their comeback, she looked up their teasers and listened to the songs. She even added, “Aren’t you being too inattentive?”
When Jang Wonyoung asked whether Sunghoon liked her or not, the ENHYPEN member had the most sibling-like reaction as he bluntly replied, “Of course not.”
After some back and forth, they had to admit that they are good friends, and Sunghoon revealed that he was joking because he obviously knew the track was called “After LIKE.” The male idol then added that he was just “Messing around.” Netizens couldn’t expect more from the duo named “Jankku.”
When the show was broadcasted, netizens quickly took to social media to share how much they loved the chemistry between Jang Wonyoung and Sunghoon.
Sunghoon always loves teasing Jang Wonyoung like an older brother, and her reaction will be very familiar to younger siblings. Many also loved how Jang Wonyoung was “scolding” Sunghoon and how the writers always write the perfect scripts for the duo.
