IVE’s Jang Wonyoung Shocks Fans After Unexpectedly Becoming One Of The Shortest Members During The “32nd Seoul Music Awards” Red Carpet
When it comes to IVE‘s Jang Wonyoung, along with her talent, charisma, and visuals, the idol is known for her unreal height and proportions.
Even when she was on Produce 48 and eventually debuted in IZ*ONE, she was always one of the tallest members and even gained the nickname “Giant Baby.”
As she’s gotten older, it seems like Jang Wonyoung has gotten even taller and gained attention for her unreal proportions as her visuals have matured as part of the girl group IVE.
In particular, her visuals shined when she and the IVE members walked the red carpet for the 32nd Seoul Music Awards. As expected, all the members looked amazing, and Jang Wonyoung was no exception, dressed in a beautiful black dress that fitted their black and white theme.
Yet, because of being known for her height, it’s the reason netizens were shocked when group photos from the red carpet appeared. While all the members looked beautiful in their outfits, netizens couldn’t help but share their shock that Jang Wonyoung suddenly became one of the smallest members of the group.
In the group photos, although Yujin was unsurprisingly still the tallest, Jang Wonyoung was smaller than the rest of the members in many of the pictures taken.
In those straight ahead, it seems more like she is one of the smallest as her height seems more similar to Leeseo at the end.
When the photos were posted, netizens couldn’t help but hide their reactions to Jang Wonyoung’s sudden height decrease. From always being one of the tallest female idols in the industry, it was surprising to see Jang Wonyoung as one of the smallest in her group.
Of course, Jang Wonyoung hadn’t just shrunk, and her members hadn’t just grown. After watching the full video, netizens noticed that while the other members could be seen wearing heels, Jang Wonyoung was wearing cute, flat doll shoes.
For many, it was a shock to see the idol wearing low shoes, but nobody could criticize the outfits. Although they were all different, the looks showcased the different personalities of the IVE members. If Jang Wonyoung wore flats, she would have had input into the look.
