A Moment Dubbed “Heartbreaking” During IVE Wonyoung’s Recent Birthday Live
IVE‘s Wonyoung recently celebrated her birthday.
On August 31, Wonyoung did a special live broadcast to celebrate her birthday.
Wonyoung started to reveal some of her favourite foods, and the table soon became full of delicious snacks.
Of course, it’s not a proper birthday without making a wish and blowing out the candles on a cake.
However, instead of Wonyoung eating any of the food, the staff started removing all the food from the table as the next activity started.
After taking the food, netizens were shocked when the staff took the cake from the table without Wonyoung having eaten any of it.

Netizens shared their anger at the staff’s actions. While idols have a strict schedule and are expected to look a certain way, birthdays are a time they can have some fun and eat food, so the fact it was taken away made netizens sad, especially after Wonyoung’s excitement when revealing the food.
They even posted a picture of Wonyoung with the food after, and it hadn’t been eaten.

Yet, it seems to have something to do with IVE as, a day later, Yujin celebrated her birthday, and the food and cake were also removed without her eating.
