IVE‘s Wonyoung has gained attention for her comments about marriage.
Recently, Wonyoung appeared on Dex’s Fridge Interview, and wasn’t afraid of revealing TMI for the first time, including her ideal type and MBTI.
During the video, Dex asked Wonyoung about her future plans for marriage.
Wonyoung and the team found it funny, and Dex had to clarify that he meant when she was older.
As the reactions became bolder, Dex became flustered and seemingly wanted to dismiss the question as Wonyoung found it fun.
Yet, Wonyoung answered the question, explaining, “I would if I find my destined person. I might, depending on fate”
The duo then pointed out that marriage might not happen and talking about the idea of fate.
When the video was posted, it caught the attention of netizens for several reasons. While some loved her outlook and answer despite being so young, others noticed the way Wonyoung didn’t use any pronouns and referred to a possible marriage with a “person,” with the literal translation meaning “destined opponent” or “companion.”
