Sadly, due to the controversy, the comments were flooded with netizens demanding Miu Miu remove Wonyoung as an ambassador.
- Why did you get her to be the ambassador! We won’t accept a thief being the ambassador!
- Things add up. Perhaps we’re the only ones saying this now, but it’s possible that you guys will be the ones to be completely blacklisted in the Chinese market.
- Aren’t you afraid of lowering your brand status by using a thief as the ambassador? Or do you guys not want a big market like China?
- If you keep posting Jang Wonyoung, Chinese people will stop buying Miu Miu.
- Why did you get a thief to be the ambassador?
- Miu Miu’s taste is merely like this. If any Chinese influencers buy your products, we’ll just flame them.
Yet, it isn’t just Wonyoung’s photos on the Miu Miu account that the idol is receiving hate. In the most recent photos, whether it is just clothes or other stars endorsing the brand, the posts are full of comments asking the brand to remove Wonyoung and threatening to boycott if that doesn’t happen.
