IZ*ONE Ahn Yujin’s Show “My Little Television 2” To End Due To Multiple Problems
MBC‘s My Little Television 2 is ending ten months after the season began in March 2019.
Poor ratings, various controversies, and major directors resigning are the main reasons why the show will stop being aired. PD Park Jinkyung, PD Kwon Haebom, and PD Kwon Seungmin are transferring to Kakao M, thus resigning from the broadcast.
One notable controversy among viewers was when the show completely edited out IZ*ONE‘s Yujin‘s parts amidst the Produce scandal, notable considering she is the show’s MC.
My Little Television was considered a fresh concept when the first season aired due to its raw live broadcasting format. As celebrities moved to Youtube, however, and the platform changed to Twitch, viewers found the show lacking impact.
The last episode of My Little Television 2 will be streamed on January 4 while the edited version will be aired on MBC on January 20.
