Kwon Eunbi Confirms She’s Preparing For Her Solo Debut
In a recent interview with ESQUIRE Korea, former IZ*ONE leader Kwon Eunbi confirmed she’s preparing for her solo debut!
As part of the interview, ESQUIRE Korea compiled questions from some of Eunbi’s biggest fans, and a supporter by the name of cheryagataa wanted to know whether the former IZ*ONE star has fulfilled her 2021 bucket list yet. Eunbi’s answer was “no“—but that’s all about to change.
Eunbi went on to reveal that her top bucket list item for this year is to release a solo album, and to fans’ delight, she’s already in the process of making it. “I am currently preparing,” she confirmed to ESQUIRE Korea.
Typically, most female Produce contestants have gone on to debut in girl groups rather than as soloists. However, before debuting in IZ*ONE back in 2018, Eunbi was a member of the 2014 to 2015 group Ye-A. Given her long history in the K-Pop industry and her current age of 25, many fans expressed concern that debuting in another girl group wouldn’t be the right next step for Eunbi.
Luckily for those fans, that doesn’t seem to be the case. As a talented dancer and vocalist, Eunbi is sure to enjoy great success with her solo debut. In the meantime, she’s been opening up new communication channels with fans. After creating her own personal Instagram account in late May this year, she’s already reached almost 850,000 followers.
Earlier this week, it was also announced that Eunbi will be joining the fandom platform UNIVERSE to chat with fans, hold fan meetings, and participate in fansign events.
