IZ*ONE’s Sakura Expresses Her Feelings About The Group’s Disbandment

“Last week was the last time that I was able to introduce myself as IZ*ONE’s Miyawaki Sakura.”

IZ*ONE‘s Miyawaki Sakura shared her feelings about the group’s disbandment, and expressed great love for their fans, WIZ*ONEs!

On April 28, Sakura talked about IZ*ONE on her Bay FM radio show, Under The Sakura Tree, first speaking about the process as to how the 12 girls came to be in one group!

During the show, she revealed that last week was the last time she introduced herself as “IZ*ONE’s Miyawaki Sakura”, and talked about how she spent her time as the group wrapped up their last concert in March 2021. Reminiscing about how she spent her time, she also talked about how a long break between activities helped her prepare for IZ*ONE’s disbandment.

I know our fans are probably shedding tears while listening to this, but I think last week was the last time that I was able to introduce myself as IZ*ONE’s Miyawaki Sakura.

After our last concert, we didn’t have any schedules for about a month and a half. We used that time to stay in our dorms or go on trips and had a lot of free time. If we had our last concert on April 28, I would have probably a lot right now.

I think I spent that last month and a half organizing my feelings while reminiscing on past memories.

Sakura then talked about their now empty dorm rooms, revealing that all the members have packed up all of their belongings in their shared dorms, and expressed love and concern for their fans who are having a hard time.

When I prepare for something, I feel lonely. I haven’t even come to a realization about all this, and yet I’ve finished organizing my thoughts.

Our fans are probably having a really hard time.
