NCT’s Jaehyun Writes Heartfelt Message To Fans Ahead Of Military Enlistment
On September 26, NCT’s Jaehyun officially announced that he would enlist in the military.
He will be serving in the military band following basic military training.
SM Entertainment released an official notice on Weverse regarding his enlistment.
Following the sudden news, Jaehyun took to the Bubble app and left a heartfelt message to fans.
“Have you been well?
You must be surprised at the sudden news, but I will enlist in the military in November. I want to express my feelings to NCTzens shortly.
If it weren’t for this job, I would have never been able to experience the precious memories with fans, our precious relationship, and the size of love, and I am grateful for it once again.
I’ve always gone at my own pace, and I am so thankful and love all of you who have always trusted and walked by my side.
Although I say that I will be back quickly and wait just a little bit, I will surely miss you all.
I will return back healthily so I hope you all are well and healthy while I am gone.
I will continue to work hard as I look back on our memories and anticipate the future that is to come.

Jaehyun is the second member of NCT 127 after Taeyong to enlist in the military. His expected discharge date is May 3, 2026.
