Recently, a violent incident was suspected to have taken place at a nursery in Minamikyushu City, Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan. According to Japan Today, nursery teacher Natsuki Sasayama (21) was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after she slashed a 2-year-old boy’s neck.
Kyodo News stated that the incident occurred around 11 a.m. on Friday after another person saw the boy’s injury and called the police.
The news stated it was originally “unclear whether it was a crime or an accident.”
However, Natsuki Sasayama admitted her actions stating, “I did it but there was no intent to kill.”
Doctors told police that it will take about a month for the boy to heal from the injuries.
