Jay Park Worries Fans With Yet Another Hint That He’s Ready To Retire
Jay Park recently took to his Instagram to share his song “Encore” which was released last year, but the caption he added to the post worried fans that he might really retire in the near future.
Along with a link to the song, Jay Park expressed,
This is actually a song that hinted at my retirement. I feel like I did my best and I can leave the industry without any regrets.
– Jay Park
He then added the lyrics of the song which include excerpts such as “Ever since I became the boss, I became pretentious“, “The streets are more comfortable than this“, and “All I wanted was to become the light“.
While fawning over the song, fans also pleaded that he change his mind about retirement with comments such as “You can’t retire“, “Instead of retiring, please just take a break“, and “I’ll never let you go“.
This isn’t the first time Jay Park expressed his plans to retire.
Just last year, he took to his Twitter account to announce that he plans to retire in a few years.
Im gonna retire in a couple years~ this is a promise to you guys and myself. Not a lot of space for guys like me left in this game.

Despite Jay Park’s claim that there isn’t a lot of space for guys like him left in the game, he recently received overwhelming praise for turning Rain’s “Gang” into an upgraded version that fits perfectly into this day and age of music.
But if he wants to retire, that’s completely up to him. And fans will always support him no matter what.
