Jeon Do Yeon and Jung Kyung Ho‘s dreamy kiss leads Crash Course In Romance to its highest viewership ratings yet.
On the February 12 episode of tvN‘s Crash Course In Romance, Jeon Do Yeon and Jung Kyung Ho’s characters are seen making the difficult choice of distancing themselves, despite their feelings for one another.
Seeing this, Hae Yi (played by Roh Yoon Seo) reveals that Jeon Do Yeon’s character is her aunt and not her mother, and in the process, eliminates the biggest wall that stood in the way of Jung Kyung Ho and Jeon Do Yeon’s characters being together.
The episode saw an average viewership rating of 13.5% and was the most-watched program on TV during its time slot.
Most memorable in the episode was the scene in which Jung Kyung Ho’s and Jeon Do Yeon’s characters kiss.
In the scene, Chi Yeol (Jung Kyung Ho), who falls asleep drunk, wakes up to Haeng Seon (Jeon Do Yeon) by his side. Seeing her, he believes he is in a dream and kisses Haeng Seon.
What Chi Yeol doesn’t realize, however, is that he’s not dreaming and that Haeng Seon was in his home to check on him, and thus the kiss is totally real.
The scene’s kiss wasn’t the lone dreamy part, however, as the scene saw a viewership rating of 18%, the best in the series and of all current TV shows airing in its timeslot. Netizens reacted to the show’s high ratings by congratulating the drama, with many stating that the high ratings were well-deserved.
