Jeon So Min Tests Positive For COVID-19
Actress Jeon So Min has tested positive for COVID-19.
Starship Entertainment‘s King Kong, Jeon So Min’s agency, reported on March 22 that Jun So Min had been diagnosed with COVID-19.
She has been filming the upcoming JTBC K-Drama Cleaning Up, a remake of a British TV series of the same name. So, it has been halted for now.
Jeon So Min will resume filming Cleaning Up when her quarantine ends on the 24th. She is starring alongside Na In Woo, Yum Jung Ah, Lee Moo Saeng, and Kim Jae Hwa.
King Kong revealed that the filming schedule for SBS‘s variety show Running Man has been unaffected. Previously, co-stars Yoo Jae Suk, Ji Suk Jin, Haha, Kim Jong Kook, Yang Se Chan, etc. had been diagnosed with COVID-19 but recovered.
Back in January, Jeon So Min suffered a foot fracture, which she personally explained in a previous episode of Running Man. Wearing a foot brace, the actress shared that she somehow hurt her foot going down the stairs. While in the beginning, she assumed it was an ankle sprain, it was after an X-ray was taken that she was diagnosed with a foot fracture.
She returned to the show on February 27 but was in a foot brace and crutches. On January 21, her agency King Kong by Starship announced that she had official undergone foot surgery and was “currently recovering.”
Jeon So Min is also fully vaccinated. According to King Kong by Starship, she is asymptomatic.
We wish her a full and speedy recovery!
