Jeongyeon Bursts into Tears at TWICE's Concert Following the Recent Passing of Her Dog, Bbosong

TWICE recently performed at their world tour concert in Bangkok, Thailand where Jeongyeon suddenly burst into tears in the middle of “After Moon”.

On this day, Jeongyeon’s actress sister, Gong Seung Yeon shared that their beloved dog, Bbosong passed away on her official Instagram account.

The post reads, “Our beloved Bbosong went to Heaven on June 13. You had been sick for a year now, so thank you for enduring it so well and we’re sorry. We hope you don’t feel any pain up there in Heaven.”

It appears that their dog struggled against a disease for quite some time and ended up passing away recently, which understandably led to Jeongyeon crying on stage.

What might have triggered Jeongyeon’s tears are the emotional lyrics of TWICE’s song, “After Moon”.

The lyrics include, “We cannot meet like the sun and moon, but you and I, you and I, you and I. Don’t forget that we’re together. Just like the moon that can still be seen during the day after the night passes. You and I, you and I, you and I, I will always be by your side.”

Jeongyeon couldn’t help but let out her emotions during this song, but she still managed to keep a smile on her face for the rest of the performance like the professional she is.
