Jessi has parted ways with DOD Entertainment just one month after signing a management contract with them.
In a statement shared by DOD Entertainment to media outlet Tenasia, they confirmed Jessi’s departure from the company at her request.

Once again, we are sorry for causing anxiety to the fans from the recent bad news.
Jessi and the company have had numerous conversations on her future activities and at Jessi’s request, it has been decided that our exclusive contract with her will be terminated as of October 18, 2024.
Although it was a short time, we would like to express our gratitude to Jessi for being with us and we sincerely support her future activities.

Jessi recently appeared at the police station after an incident on September 29. While she was hanging out with friends in the Apujeong area of Gangnam, a male teenage fan approached Jessi for a picture. One of the men who was accompanying Jessi at the time assaulted the fan. The attack was captured on CCTV footage, which has since gone viral.
